Master engraved Colt Model 1892 New Army/Navy .38 DA Revolver. Serial number 114745 dates it to 1899 First DA Swing Out Cylinder used by the US Military. Manufactured in 1899 and later engraved (including signature) by Master Engraver Jon Jones (Holland & Holland London) Jon Jones Master Engraver & Gunsmith Jon served his apprenticeship with the prestigious firm of Holland & Holland in London. After completing his five-year apprenticeship, Jon was further employed by Holland & Holland for several years. His work has been described as amongst some of the best in the world. In New Zealand Jon worked with the Collectors and Classic Arms Dealers Adrian & Andy Mayberry. In 2007 this Colt was purchased from Adrian’s personal Collection
