Manufactured in 1877. Partridge blade front sight with polished gold bead (pinned to the original) sight and frame groove rear sight with "V" cut insert. The barrel is marked with the short 2-line Hartford address on top, acid etched "COLT NEW 41" panel on the left, 1874 patent date. Frame is marked "41 CAL C" on the left side. Niter blue hammer and trigger, birds head butt. Rust pitting visable on the cylinder and barrel that has been cleaned off.
