.38-55 Oliver Winchester Model 94 Commemorative Rifle One of only 19,999 produced, this Oliver Winchester commemorative 94 in .38-55 is in great condition! Receiver, lever, fore end cap, and magazine cap are richly plated in gold, with the balance of metal exhibiting a lustrous deep blue finish. Left side of the receiver is engraved with the Winchester factory, and the right side depicts early settlers and Native Americans using their Winchester rifles on the frontier. The 24" barrel has a full octagon contour, with blade front sight and v-notch rear. Stock and fore end retain virtually all of their original rubbed oil finish, with lots of figure and sharp checkering throughout. Blued crescent butt plate. Bore is very good. The only small apology on this gun is that there is a tiny flake of gold that is missing from the underside just above the serial number and a very small rub mark just in front of the lever (Pictured). All in all, a very nice example of a beautiful collectible Winchester in a classic Old West caliber! Comes with original styrafoam box, Collector Cardboard Sleeve, Paperwork and an original packet of Oliver Winchester Commemorative 38-55 Ammunition.
